The Anscombe Bioethics Centre is supported by the Catholic Church in England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland but has always relied also on donations from generous individual friends and benefactors. We warmly invite new friends and Members to join us. Please click on the headings on the left for more information. Donations can be made by clicking below this page, or contact Gwen McCourt at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Some people may not wish to become Members of the Centre but will want to support us by a regular donation, by a one-off donation (for example, to help with our Education Officer appeal or by volunteering to help with our work. You may also wish to consider including the Anscombe Bioethics Centre in your will. Sustaining the witness of the Church to ethical truths is a worthwhile legacy. Gifts of any size, small or large, are always appreciated.
The vision of the Centre includes the establishment of a permanent and properly equipped office in Oxford with a national library for Catholic bioethics. We also need to secure the future of the Centre financially. This great project needs upwards of £4 million. It can only succeed with the help of benefactors, whether trusts or individuals, who can each give a considerable sum of money. Each such substantial gift will make a lasting impact on the shape of bioethics in the United Kingdom and Ireland. If you think you may be able to help in this way please contact the director, Prof David Albert Jones, at email@example.com.
