Legacies

Legacies are an invaluable way of funding the Centre. By leaving a gift in your will, you will help to shape and promote our research for years to come. Your gift will benefit the Church, society, and the academy, not to mention vulnerable persons whose human dignity is not fully recognised by medicine.

No other charity in the UK does the work of the Anscombe Bioethics Centre.

The generosity of many benefactors over the years has enabled the research, educational and outreach activities of the Centre.

With activists renewing their efforts to promote abortion, to introduce assisted suicide into law and medicine, and to limit conscientious objection, there has never been a greater need for the Anscombe Bioethics Centre.

We understand that many people have financial commitments, which mean they cannot give what they would like. Legacy giving is a way in which you can help to secure the future of the Centre without any immediate cost to yourself.

Once you have made provision for family, friends and any dependents there are several ways you can help the Centre after your death.

You could leave a designated sum of money, you could make the Centre the beneficiary of your residual estate, which means anything left after all your bequests have been accounted for, or you could bequeath an item, such as a property, car, a painting, or a piece of jewellery.
